The V Concentration of Vespas and Lambrettas of Estepona will bring together thirty classic and modern scooters.

On Friday 13 there will be an exhibition of the participating vehicles outside the Mirador del Carmen. The Motorcycle Touring Route will take place next Saturday 14th with departure from the Fair and Sports Grounds.

The Estepona Town Hall informs that next September 13 and 14 will be held the V Concentration of Vespas and Lambrettas of the city. The concentration, organized by the Vespasianus Estepona Sports Club, with the collaboration of the City Council, is intended primarily for drivers and companions of Vespa, Lambretta, LML and Scomadi scooters, classic and modern, with or without sidecar, including mopeds and classic motorcycles. The main purpose of this activity is the practice of motorcycle tourism, with the tourist promotion of the locality. It also aims at driving Vespa type motorcycles and similar, in addition to the dissemination, knowledge and conservation of this type of vehicles.

The meeting will begin next Friday 13, from 20.00 to 24.00 hours, with an exhibition of Vespas and Lambrettas and classic motorcycles of different models and eras in the outdoor area of the Cultural Center Mirador del Carmen. For its part, the Motorcycle Touring Route will take place on Saturday 14 with a tour through the streets of the town and landmarks, ending with lunch at the Caseta ‘La Nuestra’ of the Fair and Sports Enclosure. The day will begin at 09.00 hours in the booth, where the reception of pre-registered participants and motorcycle checks will take place. Subsequently, from 10.30 to 11.30 am, there will be a route along Avenida Juan Carlos I, Avenida de Andalucía, San José School traffic circle, Avenida de España, Avenida de Andalucía and Terraza Street, and stop at the Botanical Orchid Park. After a visit inside the Orchidarium, at 13.15 hours will begin a tour of the following streets: Avenida de Andalucía, Roundabout El Calvario, Calles Tajo, Casares, María Espinosa, Sevilla, Pozo Pila, San Juan, Cristo Rey Street, extension of Avenida San Lorenzo, Africa Street, José Tomás traffic circle, Avenida Juan Carlos I, BP Gas Station traffic circle, Avenida Puerta del Mar, Puerto Deportivo traffic circle and Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center. After a stop at the Restaurant ‘El Rey’ on Avenida de España, the concentration will leave at 14.45 hours from the Mirador del Carmen, passing through the streets José Luis Díez, San Roque street and Avenida Juan Carlos I, to the Fair and Sports Enclosure, where the route will end.
