Estepona City Council informs that next Friday, December 20, at 19.00 pm, will be held at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel the cello and piano concert ‘Beyond Words’, with Adriana Rojo and Angel Moya. Both musicians will perform pieces by great composers such as Bach, Pärt, Schubert, Saint-Saëns, Gounod and Massenet, among others.
Tickets can be purchased for 15 euros at the center’s box office from one hour before the start of the concert.
“As a society, we are eager, or rather, in need of fresh air. Fresh air that renews us. Music can play a great role here. Why? Because it has the power, the ability to reach places that words do not. Words, in many cases, divide: we quickly compare them with our way of seeing the world. If they fit with what we think, we open up to them, but if not, we don’t even listen to them,” the protagonists point out.
“Music, however, is a universal language and invites us to silence. And this is exactly what we propose in this concert: to point to our center, our essence. Simply music, experience, life. Hence the title we have chosen: Beyond words”, they assure.
Program:
PART I: Works by Bach, Pärt, Schubert, Saint-Saëns, Gounod and Massenet.
PART II: Improvisations
