Cine-Club screens the successful Italian film ‘Siempre nos quedará mañana’ (There’s always tomorrow)

It will be this Thursday, May 8, at 8:00 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
The City Council of Estepona informs that the Cine-Club of the delegation of Culture continues the spring cycle with the screening of the film ‘Siempre nos quedará mañana’, a work based on feminism directed by its leading actress, Paola Cortellesi, which addresses the life of a mother and wife living in post-war Italy and struggling to get her family ahead.
Italian film released in Spain in 2024, with original title ‘C’è ancora domani’, is directed by and stars Paola Cortellesi, along with Valerio Mastandrea, Vinicio Marchioni, Romana Maggiora Vergano and Giorgio Colangeli, among others.
The screening of the film, not recommended for children under 12, will be on Thursday, May 8, at 8:00 pm, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. The film will be dubbed into Spanish. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
Synopsis: Rome, 1946. Delia has three children and is married to the ill-tempered Ivano, who does not treat her too well. After the war, both struggle to get their family ahead with various low-paying jobs. But one day, a wonderful piece of news comes their way: Marcella, the eldest daughter, has just become engaged to Giulio, a very nice guy from a good family.
Delia is very excited about this new beginning that will bring a better future for everyone. However, she receives a mysterious letter that promises to change the family’s plans forever.
