Estepona City Council opens the deadline for submission of nominations for the Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivities 2024
The registration period will be open from April 1 to May 10.
The deputy mayor of the Sociocultural area, Paula Herrera, and the councilor attached to the delegation of Festivities, Macarena Diánez, announced today that the City Council has opened the deadline for nominations for Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivals 2024, whose celebration will take place from 2 to 7 July.
As stated in the bases, those interested must be registered in Estepona and provide a photocopy of the national identity card and contact telephone number in the municipal delegation of Festivals. Minors who do not have ID must submit a photocopy of the registration form in the Family Book, and complete authorization document of parents and / or legal guardians, available at Sede Electrónica.
The Deputy Mayor of the Sociocultural Area, Paula Herrera, explained that two categories have been convened; Children, in which girls can participate from 7 to 11 years; and Youth, for young people aged 17 to 22 years.
They may not participate in this contest who have been elected Queens in previous years, in the same category in which they wish to compete, or candidates who have been elected Queens or Ladies of the Festivities of San Isidro Labrador or the Virgen del Carmen.
For its part, the councilor attached to Festivities, Macarena Diánez, has announced that the act of election and coronation of the procession of the Fair and Festivities, which will consist of Queen and four ladies in each category, Children and Youth, will be held May 25, at 21:00 pm, in the Plaza del Ajedrez. The Children’s aspirants will be chosen by drawing lots.
