Estepona is once again the starting point for the Solidarity Car Rally ‘Oasis Raid’ 2025

The expedition, which will consist of about thirty vehicles, will depart on Thursday 17th from the entrance of the Fair and Sports grounds. It will cross Morocco to deliver health and educational material to people in need.

The Estepona City Council informs that the city will be again next Thursday, April 17, the official starting point of the Solidarity Car Rally ‘Oasis Raid’ 2025, a non-timed motor and orienteering event aimed at all audiences, which combines adventure and solidarity, and that pays tribute to the great motorized crossings and raids through Africa.

The non-timed competition is organized by Motor Adventure S.L., in collaboration with the City Council. From 09.00 hours, the participating vehicles will enter an area at the entrance of the Fair and Sports Enclosure, where the teams will be presented and the technical checks will be carried out. In this space will remain until 13.00 hours, at which time the official departure direction to the port of Algeciras to leave for the African continent.

In this thirteenth edition of the activity, the eighth starting point in Estepona, will participate thirty vehicles divided into two categories: ‘Raid’, consisting of small displacement vehicles registered in the 80s and 90s, and ‘All-Road’, of ‘SUVs’ (SUV) and 4×4 vehicles. The caravan will cross the neighboring country of Morocco in a week-long journey and will travel a unique itinerary created for the occasion that will test the physical and mental endurance of the participants and the mechanics of the vehicles.

One of the basic pillars of Oasis Raid is solidarity with the most disadvantaged inhabitants of the Moroccan territories where the event takes place, where they will deliver health and educational material to needy families.
