Estepona will be the epicenter of Grassroots Soccer with the ‘Estepona Summer CUP’ 2024 tournament.

The event, which is free of charge, will be held from June 14 to 16 at the municipal facilities of the San Fernando Soccer Field, the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Stadium and the Athletics Stadium.

The councilman attached to the delegation of Sport, Luis Gil, and the CEO of CNSports Tourism Agency, Carlos Navarro Perez, today presented the Football Tournament ‘Estepona Summer CUP’ to be held in the city on 14, 15 and 16 June and in which more than 40 teams will participate in categories from prebenjamín to cadet.

The event is organized by the Sports Tourism Agency CNSPORTS Tourism Agency, in collaboration with the Consistory, and aims to promote sports participation among young people while encouraging sport and team spirit.

In this edition, 23 clubs will participate, presenting 42 teams from different locations in Spain, such as Ceuta, Badajoz, Cáceres, Córdoba, Granada, Seville, Ciudad Real, Almería, Huelva, Jaén, Cádiz, Madrid, Málaga and Estepona, as well as Gibraltar.

The teams will be classified in different age categories, from prebenjamines (5-7 years old), benjamines (8-9 years old), alevines (10-11 years old) and infantiles (12-13 years old), to cadets (14-15 years old).

After the reception of the participants, on the 14th, the matches will take place on June 15 and 16 from 9.00 to 14.00 hours and from 16.00 to 20.00 hours in the facilities of the San Fernando Municipal Football Field, Francisco Muñoz Pérez Municipal Football Stadium and Estepona Municipal Athletics Stadium.

Admission to the matches will be free of charge.
