Fishing competition: I. Open Mar-Costa Playas de Estepona
Interested anglers can now register for the fishing competition “I. Open Mar-Costa Playas de Estepona”, which will be held on Sunday, 23 October, from 10 am. About 80 participants from different parts of Andalusia are expected to take part in the fishing competition between the river La Cala and the beach of La Escollera. The catches will be collected and weighed at the end of the event. The winner will receive 1,000 euros and other prizes will be offered.
Those who want to take part must have a fishing licence from the Junta de Andalucía. Registration costs 40 euros. Entries can be made at local fishing shops, by emailing cap_playasdeestepona@hotmail.com and by calling 699134893.
The fishing competition is under the supervision of the Spanish authorities.
