Infrastructure: Work on the new town hall almost completed
Construction work on the new town hall building in the area of Calle Parque Central in Estepona is more than 90 percent complete. According to the municipality, only minor details and final adjustments are still missing, such as the installation of a sunshade, paving work and work on the upper part of the roof.
The new town hall building will have an area of 13,068 square metres, of which 9,157 square metres will be built above ground and 3,911 square metres below ground. The basement houses an underground car park with 131 parking spaces. These can be used for one euro per day.
During construction, particular emphasis was placed on energy efficiency. Therefore, it is expected that the new city hall building will receive an international quality seal for sustainable buildings.
