Synopsis: ‘The lost Picasso’ is a fictional novel that begins with the discovery of an unpublished painting by Picasso. Accidental deaths, thefts and mysterious characters intermingle in this intriguing story that serves as an excuse to learn more about the brilliant artist from Malaga.
Juan Diego Gil Contreras has been passionate about writing since childhood, when he wrote stories for his schoolmates. After a life journey where he has exercised various and varied professions, literature has returned to occupy an important place in his life for some years, publishing stories in different blogs and cultural magazines.
Winner of the micro-story contest promoted by the Official College of Architects of Malaga in 2023, he published his first novel that same year, ‘The fifth moon’, a work of suspense that has enjoyed a good reception from the public. In this his second work, ‘El Picasso perdido’, published by ExLibric, he wanted to record everything he has learned in his work as a tour guide and, more specifically, his knowledge of the figure of Picasso, in addition to his background as a tireless traveler.
