Night of preludes, pasodobles and zarzuela fantasies in the third summer concert of the Banda Municipal de Música.
Sunday 6, at 21:00 hours, in the Plaza del Reloj. The concerts will take place every Sunday, until August 27, with free access.
Estepona City Council reports that the Municipal Band of Estepona (BME) will perform next Sunday, August 6, at 21:00 pm, the third concert of the summer season at the Recinto Musical Maestro Navarro Mollor, located in the emblematic Plaza del Reloj.
On this occasion it will offer a monographic program entitled ‘La Gran Noche de la Zarzuela’, with preludes, pasodobles and fantasies of zarzuelas of the great authors of this genre.
This is the fourteenth season of the BME under the direction and artistic direction of maestro José Antonio López Camacho. During the six free performances included in this cycle, will be interpreted by the Municipal Band of Estepona more than fifty works, including soundtracks of television series and films, great classical works, zarzuelas, original music for band, modern popular music … until concluding on August 27.
As in each edition, each of the concerts will end with the interpretation of the Hymn of Estepona, with words and music by the remembered maestro Manuel Navarro Mollor.
