Plants: Psylla pest is controlled preventively

Specially trained employees of the city of Estepona are now treating numerous ficus trees as a preventive measure to combat the psylla pest. A plant protection product is injected into the trunk, whereby – depending on the size of the tree – three to five repetitions are required, according to the city. The measure is carried out annually.
