The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an exhibition of paintings by Ukrainian artists Valerii Minzhyner, Leonid Shilov, Sergei Dryga, Ovik Zograbyan and Mykola Fedyaev.

The pictorial exhibition can be visited from January 19 to February 11, with free access.

The Estepona City Council informs that Room 1 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from January 19 a group exhibition of paintings by Ukrainian artists Valeria Minzhynr, Leonid Shilov, Sergei Dryga, Ovik Zograbyan and Mykola Fedyaev.

The exhibition consists of a total of 25 works, and can be visited until February 11 from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, with free access.

Valerii Minzhyner was born in 1973 in Izmail, Odessa oblast, Ukraine. In 1989 he graduated from the Art School; in 1993 from the Grekov Art College in Odessa, and in 1999 from the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, specializing in painting. He has been awarded in numerous creative competitions. His paintings are in private collections in many European countries, Ukraine, USA and China, and in some museums in Ukraine. He actively participates in actions and auctions of voluntary organizations, helping the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Leonid Shilov was born in Mykolayiv, Ukraine, in 1943. He studied at the Russian Academy of Arts. During the Soviet era, he made his leftovers within social realism, but since Ukrainian independence he changed his style towards modernism and symbolism. He currently teaches at the Grekov Art Academy in Odessa. He has had numerous exhibitions in the United States, Japan and France, among other countries.

Sergei Dryga was born in Golovanivsk, Ukraine, in 1960. He studied at the Grekov Art School in Odessa, where he lives and works. Since 1980 he has participated in various art exhibitions, such as ‘Neva 95’ in St. Petersburg, or ‘Marina 96’ in Odessa, among others. In 1998 he won a prize in Bruges, Belgium. His works are part of numerous private art collections around the world.

Ovik Zograbyan was born in Dolarik, Armenia, in 1966, into the family of the famous artist Nikogos Zograbyan. He studied at the Yerevan High School of Art and at the N.K. Krupskaya University in Moscow. He has lived and worked in Yerevan, Moscow and St. Petersburg. Since 1988 he lives in Odessa. His works are in many private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Armenia, USA, Canada and several Western European countries.

Mykola Fedyaev was born in Lyskovo, Russia, in 1967. He studied at the Izmail State Humanitarian University. Since 2008 he has been a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists. He has exhibited his works at the Odessa Literary Museum, the Organization of the Odessa Union of Ukrainian Artists and the ismail Art Gallery, among others. He is included in the encyclopedia ‘The Artists of the World’, German publisher K.G. Saur. Munchen-Leipzig.
