The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an exhibition of the painter Carmen Gómez Orta from Huelva.
The opening of the exhibition will be on Thursday, November 30, at 6:00 p.m., and it will be open to the public until January 11.
The Estepona Town Hall informs that next Thursday, November 30, at 6:00 pm, an exhibition of paintings by the Huelva artist Carmen Gómez Orta, artistic painter, designer and interior decorator, will be inaugurated in Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores.
Designer of real and abstract compositions, she knows and handles to perfection very heterogeneous and precise techniques within the universe of bullfighting, nature, the intricacies of everyday life, portraiture, nature, the sea and other compositions.
The exhibition consists of 13 works of medium and large format inspired by the world of bullfighting, and are made in oil on linen canvas. It can be visited until January 11, from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, with free access.
Carmen Gómez Orta has been a professional painter since 1982. She studied at the School of ‘Arte 2’ in Huelva, assimilating different techniques of drawing and painting. She has been there for 5 years and since then her career has been full of successes, the result of her good work with the brushes and the sensitivity that she shows in each of her works.
She considers herself passionate about artistic painting and design, as well as a lover of illustration and a seeker of beauty.
She has carried out several design projects, has dedicated herself to painting from a very early age, has participated in various competitions, and has held more than thirty art exhibitions, both inside and outside Spain.
In 2022 she published her first book, ‘Piensa en ti’, edited by Onuba.
