The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an exhibition of watercolors by the Argentine artist Flor Sangiao.

The exhibition ‘What unites us’, curated by art historian Mikey Rico, can be visited until July 3, with free access.

The Estepona Town Hall informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host until July 3 the exhibition of watercolors ‘What unites us’ by the Argentine artist Flor Sangiao.

Consisting of twelve works, this exhibition immerses us in the intimate and evocative universe of an artist who has made the observation of nature her main language. Through watercolor on paper, Florencia Sangiao captures instants borrowed from reality, everyday moments that, under her gaze, become windows to the universal. The works that make up this exhibition belong to the series “El Jardín es de quien lo cuida” (“The Garden belongs to those who take care of it”), a project that delves into the symbiotic relationship between human beings and their natural environment.

The exhibition, curated by art historian and consultant Mikey Rico, will remain on display until July 3, from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with free access.

Florencia Sangiao Rivera, artistically known as Flor Sangiao, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1987. From a very young age, drawing was her natural way of expressing herself. Although she began her training in architecture, she soon redirected her path towards art, studying drawing, painting, sculpture and illustration in various institutions. However, it is his self-taught exploration and his life experience, marked by travel and movement, that has defined his current style: an organic and synthetic line that seeks the essence of forms and emotions.

In this exhibition, Sangiao’s works invite us to stop, to observe carefully and to find in everyday life that which unites us as human beings. His watercolors not only portray scenes, but also speak to us of our relationship with the natural world and with ourselves. Each stroke, each void, each detail, is an invitation to reflect on our own history and our connection with the environment we inhabit.

“What Unites Us” is the beauty hidden in the simple, in the everyday, and in the nature that surrounds us. It is a reminder that, in a diverse and multicultural world, we all share the same essence.
