The Cine-Club continues the winter season with the film ‘Armageddon Tome’, by James Gray

Next Thursday, January 25, at 8:00 p.m., with free admission

The Estepona City Council reports that the Cine-Club of the municipal delegation of Culture continues the winter cycle with the screening of ‘Armageddon Time’, an American film of 2022, set in the 80’s, scripted and directed by James Gray, with Anne Hathaway, Anthony Hopkins, Jeremy Strong and Banks Repeta, among others.

The screening will be on Thursday, January 25, at 8:00 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, in the original version in English with Spanish subtitles, with free admission until full capacity is reached.

Synopsis: Paul Graff has a quiet childhood in the New York suburbs. Together with Johnny, a classmate excluded because of his skin color, they get up to mischief. Paul believes he has the protection of his mother, president of the PTA, and his grandfather, with whom he has a very good relationship. But, after an incident, he is sent to a private school, whose board of directors counts Donald Trump’s father as one of its members. The elitism and unabashed racism he encounters will drastically change his world.
