The City Council and ‘Frente Bolillón’ organize a new edition of the Christmas charity campaign ‘No Child Without a Toy’, which will distribute gifts to 300 families.

Families interested in applying can do so from November 24 to December 12 at the headquarters of the Association ‘Frente Bolillón’ from 12.00 to 14.00 hours. Individuals and companies can collaborate in this solidarity initiative which, as every year, will distribute gifts to 300 families.

The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, the councilor attached to the delegation of Youth, Julia Simón, and the president of the association ‘Frente Bolillón’, Luis Rodríguez, today presented the XXXI Charity Campaign ‘No Child Without a Toy’, which will distribute gifts this Christmas to about 300 families with economic difficulties in Estepona, Casares and Manilva.

The alderman has highlighted the “great solidarity work” carried out by the association ‘Frente Bolillón’ for more than three decades, offering help to people and entities that need it most at any time of the year. In addition, he said that for the Consistory is very important to maintain close collaboration with this and other associations in order to meet the needs of the most vulnerable groups in the city.

Also, the mayor has expressed the need for all of us to contribute our bit to this cause and has appealed to the solidarity of individuals and companies to collaborate with this action, donating new toys or making a financial contribution. For his part, the president of the association ‘Frente Bolillón’ Luis Rodriguez, reported that in recent years, this campaign has come to serve about 500 children aged 0 to 12 years. In addition, he has specified that the selection of beneficiaries will be made, as usual, through the database with which the association has and a list of users who provide the delegations of Social Welfare and Women of the municipalities of Estepona, Casares and Manilva.

Rodriguez has reported that families interested in benefiting from this campaign may apply between November 24 to December 12 at the headquarters of the association, located on the street Front Bolillon, from 12.00 to 14.00 hours.

These people must submit the application form, which must be accompanied by photocopies of the ID of the parents, photocopy of the Family Book, updated work life of the parents, certificate of the beneficiary of the benefit or unemployment benefit and original certificate of registration of the family unit (minimum age 2025).

In addition, it has specified that those who are aware of families with needs that have not registered in this program can also apply for toys.

For the second year, CaixaBank has launched the initiative ‘The tree of dreams’, through which will respond to the desire of 50 children, with as many gifts valued at 50 euros each.
