The City Council and the Brotherhood Santa María de Los Remedios present the T-shirt of the I Solidarity Race “Luz de Remedios”.
The funds raised in this event, to be held on September 7, will be donated to different associations in Estepona.
The Councillor for Sports, Luis Gil, the secretary of the brotherhood Santa Maria de Los Remedios and the area director of Cajamar, José Nebro, as sponsor of the event, today presented the shirt of the First Urban Solidarity Race “Luz de Remedios”.
The race will be held on September 7 and was born with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and at the same time contribute to solidarity causes linked to social action and vocalía Charity Brotherhood. Thus, all proceeds from the sale of bibs will go to various associations in Estepona.
This urban competition is part of the category of popular races and will have a route of 8 kilometers that will start and finish at the Casa Hermandad de la Real Hermandad Santa María de Los Remedios.
The route has been carefully designed to highlight some of the most emblematic enclaves of Estepona, including the Old Town, Orchidarium, Santa María de Los Remedios Church and the Pedro Manrique Promenade. In addition, as explained from the organization, the race also aims to strengthen community ties in a festive, family and solidarity atmosphere.
