The City Council announces the contest for the poster of the Fair and Festivities 2024
The deadline for submission of proposals will remain open until May 10. The winner will receive a one-time prize of 500 euros
The City Council of Estepona has announced the contest for the poster announcing the Fair and Festivities of the town, which will be held from 2 to 7 July 2024, according to the following rules:
1. The objective of this contest will be to have an original poster announcing the Fair and Festivities of Estepona 2024.
2. Each poster artist may submit only one original and unpublished work.
3. The theme, style and technique will be free, in color, and must not include text.
4. The size of the poster shall be 50×70 centimeters in vertical format and it must be mounted on a panel or rigid support that allows its proper handling, without framing or glazing, and properly packaged.
5. The deadline for submitting posters will remain open from April 15 to May 10. The delivery will be made at the Town Hall, located on Avenida Juan Carlos I, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, addressed to the Delegation of Festivals.
6. A competent jury, appointed by the Delegation of Festivities, will choose the winning poster, whose decision will be final, and the prize may not be awarded.
7. The City Council will award a single prize of 500 euros net.
8. The winning work will become property of the City Council of Estepona, which will acquire all economic rights of intellectual property inherent to the winning work, as well as its use, reproduction, transformation and dissemination, without limitation of time.
9. The winning poster will be made public on Saturday May 25, during the election and coronation of the Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivities.
10. The non-winning posters will be withdrawn by their authors or authorized person, upon accreditation, in the delegation of Festivities, within a maximum period of three months.
11. Participation in this contest implies acceptance of these rules.
