The City Council of Estepona informs that the Plaza Caparrós will be the scene next Thursday, August 31, from 22:00 hours, of the great ‘Funky/Indie Rock Night’ with the groups Upperlips & The Blue Sky.
‘Upperlips’ is a funk band from Avila that emerged in 2017 on the initiative of four musicians. After several changes of members they reached the current lineup formed by Teresa Blázquez on vocals, Jesús Bellorín on guitar and backing vocals, Diego Pindado on keyboards, Miguel Lizana on sax, Sergio Grande on bass and Ángel González on drums. With their live performance, this young and dynamic band aims to transmit the fun and spontaneity of funky music.
For its part, the Indie Rock duo from Estepona ‘The Blue Sky’ is formed by Sami James on guitar / vocals and Javier Tejada on percussion, who present their first album, entitled “One Take”, which includes their own songs and covers.
