The City Council organizes the second edition of the ‘Angel Festival’ with the best music and folklore from Cuba, Brazil and the United States.

The Angel Park in Estepona will host the Angel Festival ‘World Music’ from August 18 to 20, at 21:30 pm, with free access.

The Estepona Town Hall informs that the Angel Park will host from August 18 to 20, at 21:30 pm, the Angel Festival ‘World Music’, a free cultural event where you can enjoy the best music and folklore from Cuba, Brazil and the United States.

On Friday 28th the festival will be opened by the musical trio Habana N’Talla, established on the Costa del Sol since 2001, and formed by singer Harold and percussionists Frank and Victor. Their repertoire includes genres such as Timba Cubana, Salsa, Son Cubano, Merengue and Bachata, among others. The concert will be completed by the dance academy ‘No sólo salsa’, directed by Manuel Coello. In addition to the performance of his dancers, Manu and Adriana, students of the academy will add a Cuban touch with their dances, before and after the show.

On Saturday 19 it will be the turn of ‘Samba y Algo Más’, led by musician and singer Saulo Oliveira, together with international Brazilian artists, proposes a trip to Brazil through music. Their repertoire includes samba, one of the strongest and most beautiful musical styles of Brazil, which, in addition to the classic rhythms, presents versions of current Brazilian music. An authentic Brazilian party in Estepona with Batucada, Bailarinnos… and much more. For its part, the dance group ‘Ferva Brasil Samba Show’, established for 11 years on the Costa del Sol, will offer a show in which will show the Brazilian culture.

On Sunday 20 will close the festival the swing quartet ‘Swingette’, with Suzette & More. This ensemble arises from the various events in which it participates as a live band of ‘Swing Out Studio Malaga’, academy directed by Maxi Prado, international teacher trained as a dancer in the United States and Sweden, fervent disseminator of Lindy Hop in Latin America and Europe since ’98, who will perform with Luciana Paczko. Rhythm and movement in perfect union.

During the Festival you will be able to enjoy the typical gastronomy of each country.
