The City Council presents the official T-shirt of the XII Urban Race 10 KM ‘Trofeo Reciclados Jurado’, to be held on October 5 in Estepona.

The sporting event, which combines sport, sustainability and solidarity, will bring together hundreds of runners in a day open to all ages.
The Estepona City Council today presented the official T-shirt that will dress the participants of the XII Urban Race 10 KM ‘Trofeo Reciclados Jurado’, one of the most important sports events in the local and Andalusian calendar, which will take place on Sunday October 5 under the slogan ‘United for Sport and Recycling’.
The event was attended by the councilman attached to the delegation of Sport, Luis Gil; members of the Athletics Club Estepona, CAE: Miguel Lopez, Josemi Jimenez and Jose Juarez and Marta Martin of Recycled Jurado, Daniel Acosta, director of IES Mar de Alboran, Jose Lopez of FitBike, Alejandro Garcia Navarro of Ubuntu, Barbara Solima of Las Mesas, Domingo Escarcena of Uniformes Estepona, Sara Gimeno of viva Gym and Isabel Molina of Tomax. All of them sponsors and collaborators of the event.
The official T-shirt, made of technical fabric and exclusive design, is part of the traditional Runner’s Bag, which will also include energy drinks and other gifts. It will be given to all those registered for the 10 and 5 kilometer absolute races. The design of the T-shirt is inspired by the sporting spirit, sustainability and local identity of Estepona.
Registrations for the race can be formalized until 2:00 pm on October 1, both online through the platform www.dorsalchip.es, and in person at the following points:
Deportes Olimpia (c/ Pozo de los Palos, nº 85 – from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:30 to 21:00 h).
Centro Deportivo Fitness y Pádel Las Mesas (avda. Reina Sofía, s/n – from 10:00 to 21:00 h)
Uniformes Estepona (c/ Valladolid, nº 13 – from 09:30 to 14:00 h)
Registration fees
Junior Race: 5 euros + delivery of 1 kilo of non-perishable food (for the benefit of Comedor Social Emaús). On the day of the race, if places are available, registration will cost 10 euros and can be done until 09:30 am in the tent.
Absolute races (10KM and 5KM):
From September 15 to 28 (14:00 h): 15 euros.
From September 29th to October 1st (14:00 h): 18 euros
Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the race.
The organization maintains the charitable nature of the race. The proceeds from the children’s races will be donated to the Ubuntu Association, while the food donated will be given to the Comedor Social Emaús. In addition, the race reinforces its commitment to sustainability through recycling initiatives and environmental awareness. The City Council encourages all sports enthusiasts to participate in this great event, which once again will unite runners, families and local entities in a day of coexistence, effort and solidarity.
