The City Council puts out to tender the concession of five new booths in the Fair and Sports Park.

Interested parties may submit their bids until 2 p.m. on January 19, 2026 electronically through the Public Sector Procurement Platform.
The Estepona City Council informs that it has put out to tender the concession and operation of five new booths in the Fair and Sports Park. The aim is to continue providing the fairgrounds of Estepona with adequate infrastructure to cover the annual fairs and festivals organized in the city. In addition, the aim is to take advantage of a large part of the spaces generated in the area to provide, during the rest of the year, a set of recreational facilities to expand the existing ones.
Those interested in bidding for the concession of any of these booths that have been put out to tender have until 2 p.m. on January 19, 2026 to submit their proposals. Bidders must prepare and submit their bids electronically through the Public Sector Procurement Platform.
The concession, to be awarded by open procedure, is limited to five plots. Three of them have an area of 100 square meters, the fourth has 99.92 meters, and the fifth, 144.90 square meters. These are public plots. The new booths will be built on site, so they will be fixed. They must have two floors, aligned on the ground and upper floors.
The maximum term of the concession will be 40 years. The minimum annual fee established in the bidding documents is 3,141 euros plus any applicable taxes for plots of 100 square meters. For plots of 99.92 meters, it is 3,138.49 euros; and for larger plots, it is 4,551.31 euros.
The awarding of the concession will be made in view of the applications made. In the event of a tie, a draw will be held. Bidders may only be awarded a single booth, even if they bid in order of priority for several booths.
Individuals or legal entities that are concessionaires of a booth at the fairgrounds may not participate in the bidding process. Nor may bid those who have a stake of at least 25% in the current concessionaires of booths at the fairgrounds.
The awarding procedure also contemplates that the successful bidder must maintain the constructions, installations and other facilities built, as well as keep them in perfect working order, safety, cleanliness and hygiene during the term of the concession, carrying out at its own expense any repairs and replacements that may be necessary.
Furthermore, during the term of the concession, he is obliged to make, at his own expense, all major and minor repairs, both ordinary and extraordinary, that may be necessary to maintain the complex in perfect conditions of use and operation, in order to keep it in a state to serve the use for which it is intended, without the Town Council having to pay any amount for these repairs.
