The City Council renovates the stage of the Felipe VI Theater Auditorium

The renovation of the curtain of the black chamber and the installation of a new front curtain began today.
The City Council of Estepona is carrying out works of tuning in the facilities of the Teatro Auditorio Felipe VI.
Thus, today have begun work for the renovation of the curtains of the black chamber, in addition to the installation of a new backdrop of embouchure (first horizontal curtain located at the top in front of the curtain of mouth and is wider than the rest of the curtains).
The new curtains are made of special opaque cotton fabric, flame retardant and acoustic properties. In total, more than 750 square meters of curtain will be installed, consisting of eight legs, four backdrops and a backdrop.
In addition, a new black velvet curtain with a permanent fireproof treatment will also be installed, with a ruffled finish. It measures 16 meters wide by 4 meters high.
These works, which have an investment of 13,487.27 euros, are being carried out by the specialized company Teatrerya.
This new image of the stage of the Felipe VI Theater will be released on Friday, May 2, with the concert of the Symphony Orchestra and Choirs of Weber State University conducted by Francisco de Gálvez from Malaga.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the City Council is in the process of awarding a new concessionaire the management and operation of this facility for leisure and culture, to continue offering a varied and quality programming.
