The City Council resumes the delivery of tickets so that seniors can enjoy CD Estepona home games.

The Consistory signed an agreement with the soccer club with the aim of bringing the local team closer to the elderly. The Municipal Geriatric Office will provide free tickets to participants through the Active Aging Program that promotes socialization, physical activity and emotional well-being.
The Estepona City Council has resumed the delivery of tickets for seniors to go to the state to see the soccer matches played in the city of CD Estepona. The Consistory and the club signed a collaboration agreement through which seniors who participate in the Active Aging program of the Municipal Geriatric Cabinet will receive tickets to attend free of charge to the matches that the team plays at home.
Under this agreement, CD Estepona will grant a quota of free tickets for seniors in the Active Aging Program, which will be distributed from the Geriatric Cabinet ensuring equal access to the beneficiaries. In addition, there is the possibility of including other activities, such as guided tours of the stadium or meetings with players, to enhance the experience for seniors.
This initiative, which resumes this new season after the summer break, will not only allow the beneficiaries to enjoy soccer and be part of the local fans, but will also reinforce the club’s social commitment to the community. In this sense, it promotes inclusion and active aging, improving mood, reducing isolation and encouraging participation in recreational activities.
This measure also enables intergenerational interaction in a sports environment, promoting values of coexistence and respect.
