The City Council schedules ten free dance shows for summer nights’24
The Parque del Orquidario, Plaza Antonia Guerrero, Plaza del Reloj, Parque El Calvario, and Plaza de la Juventud in Cancelada, will be the dance stages for the performances of the summer nights.
The City Council of Estepona reports that different public spaces such as the Botanical Orchid Park, Plaza Antonia Guerrero, Plaza del Reloj, El Calvario Park, or the Plaza de la Juventud in Cancelada will be the scene, throughout the summer, of the dance performances framed in the ‘Agenda de Verano 2024’.
These activities will be in charge of dance students, mostly from the various municipal academies located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. From July 9 to September 3 will be a total of ten free performances that will start at 21:30 hours:
– FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. Tuesday, July 9, at the Orquidario Botanical Park: “El Taller del Arte”, a creative space directed by dancers José Franco and Inmaculada Carmona.
– SPANISH DANCE AND FLAMENCO. Monday, July 15, at the Plaza Antonia Guerrero: Aula de Danza Española y Flamenco de la delegación de Cultura, directed by Lourdes Barrientos, and Aula de Ballet y Danza Moderna de Lourdes Bazán, director of the Escuela de Flamenco de Andalucía (EFA).
– SPANISH DANCE, FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. Tuesday, July 23, at the Plaza Antonia Guerrero, and Wednesday, August 14, at the Plaza de la Juventud in Cancelada: Spanish Dance and Flamenco Classroom, directed by Eva Alarcón, and Modern and Acrobatic Dance Classroom, with Laura and Sara Perea.
– CLASSICAL BALLET, MODERN JAZZ AND LATIN DANCES. Tuesday, July 30, at the Plaza del Reloj: MT Dance School, directed by Martina Tessaro.
– BALLROOM, FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. Tuesday, August 6, at the Plaza Antonia Guerrero: Ballroom, Cabaret and Oriental Dance Classroom, directed by Mariví Rodríguez, and Modern Dance and Flamenco Classroom, with Claudia Ramírez ‘La Marivilla’.
– FLAMENCO, CLASSICAL SPANISH AND MODERN DANCE. Tuesday, August 13, at the Plaza Antonia Guerrero: Dance Studio of Gemma Sanchez ‘La Milana’.
– DANCE THERAPY AND FLAMENCO. Tuesday, August 20, in the Parque El Calvario: Workshop ‘=ES’ (Equals) of Danzaterapia of the delegation of Social Services and Social Integration, led by Immaculate Chacon, and Dance Academy of Monica Peña.
– FLAMENCO. Tuesday, August 27, at the Botanical Orchid Park: Dance Center directed by Antonio Trujillo.
– FLAMENCO. Tuesday, September 3, at the Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Dance Academy ‘Sólo Flamenco’, by Ana Guerrero.
