The City Council supports the Christmas solidarity event that will raise funds for the AFESOL Mental Health Association.
This collective and Galería 151 will celebrate this Friday, November 29, its traditional annual art and culture event, which this year will pay tribute to art professor and psychologist Alfonso Hervás and will include the collective exhibition Arte de Invierno (Winter Art), a Nativity Scene and a Christmas Market.
The councilor attached to the delegation of Citizen Participation, Maria Aguilar, today accompanied Caroline Shantistones, Elysabeth Hoyle and Laura Gil, representatives of the organization, to present the annual solidarity event of art and culture that celebrates Gallery 151, this Friday, November 29, at its facilities located in the urbanization Arena Beach phase ?.
The municipal responsible has explained that, through this activity, the organization and the Consistory intend to give visibility to mental illness and the important work carried out by the association AFESOL Mental Health. Therefore, has encouraged citizens to participate in this magical moment that will also pay a fitting tribute to the recently deceased Alfonso Hervás, art teacher and psychologist AFESOL.
For their part, the organizers have detailed what the day will consist, highlighting the group exhibition Arte de Invierno showing the latest work done by users of AFESOL under the coordination of Alfonso Hervás and whose sale will go entirely to this association.
In addition, they have detailed that the event will begin at 18.00 hours with the narration of a Christmas story, at 18.30 hours you can enjoy the clarinet performance of Juan J.r and at 19.00 hours will proceed to the opening of the Bethlehem that is made mostly with recycled materials. There will also be a Christmas Market and attendees will be invited to a welcome drink and tasting of mulled wine and Swedish cakes.
