The City Council unanimously approves the Job List for labor personnel.

The General Negotiating Committee, chaired by the Mayor, has approved this document, which has been historically demanded by union representatives.
The City Council of Estepona and the representatives of the various trade union sections have unanimously approved today the Job Relationship (RPT) of the municipal labor staff. This has been agreed during the General Negotiating Committee, which was chaired by the mayor, José María García Urbano.
The RPT is a document that compiles and organizes all the positions of the labor staff of the Consistory. It details the essential characteristics of each position, its name, functions, requirements (qualifications, experience), pay level and system of provision. It is a technical tool for personnel management that allows structuring the staff, defining responsibilities, guaranteeing the correct assignment of tasks and ensuring organizational efficiency, which will also lead to a better quality in the provision of public services.
The alderman has pointed out that today is “an important day” for the City Council because this document had been historically demanded by union representatives. “This government team was committed to move forward the RPT and is a satisfaction to see that it has been possible with the unanimity of all union sections representing municipal employees,” said García Urbano.
In that sense has highlighted the willingness of all parties in the negotiations carried out for the approval of the Relationship of Jobs. Today’s agreement is the first step towards the administrative process that will begin now for its entry into force. The document agreed today will be submitted to vote in the ordinary plenary session corresponding to the month of November.
