The Felipe VI Auditorium hosts during the month of August the Pink Floyd exhibition ‘Welcome to the Machine’, on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the album The Far Side of the Moon.
The opening of the exhibition about the British band will take place on Sunday, August 6, at 9:30 p.m., followed by a concert with the Acoustic Duo “US & THEM”, and can be visited until August 27.
The City Council of Estepona, together with the Unicorn Cultural Association, will pay tribute to the British band Pink Floyd, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of their album “The Back of the Moon”.
The first activity will consist of the exhibition “Welcome to the Machine’ in the Felipe VI Auditorium, whose inauguration will take place next Sunday, August 6, at 21:30 hours, followed by a free concert, at 22:00 hours, by the Acoustic Duo “US & THEM”.
The exhibition will consist of musical and bibliographic material and curiosities about the British band, and can be visited until August 27, at the Auditorium box office, Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 hours, and on show days, from two hours before the start of the show.
The tribute will be completed on August 25 in the Auditorium Felipe VI, with the screening of the legendary film THE WALL, Alan Parker, with free admission until full capacity, to end on August 26, at 22:00 pm, with the tribute concert PINK FLOYD Tribute, with the group IMPULSE.
Tickets for this concert, 20 € + booking fee, are on sale at www.tafestepona.com, and at the box office Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 hours, and from two hours before the start of the show, until full capacity.
