The Friends of the Passion Association will stage ‘The Passion, according to Estepona’ through the streets of the old town.

The staging of the Passion of Christ will take place on Saturday, April 19. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Plaza San Francisco and will end at the Botanical Orchid Park.
Estepona City Council reports that the Association ‘Friends of the Passion’ will stage next Saturday April 19 the Passion of Christ, under the direction of Luque, and with Miguel López Ramírez and Miguel Ángel López as assistant directors.
In this staging of the Passion of Christ, which has been represented by the streets of the old town since 2014, involving about a hundred people between amateur actors and technicians.
The representation will begin at 18.00 hours in the Plaza San Francisco, next to the Church of Los Remedios, with the staging of the Last Supper, and will continue along the street Blas Ortega to finish, about 20.00 hours, in the Botanical Orchid Park with the Crucifixion.
The itinerary is as follows: Plaza San Francisco (Last Supper), C/ Blas Ortega, Plaza Manuel Alcántara (Oración del Huerto), C/ Caravaca, Plaza del Reloj (Palacio de Caifás), Plaza Blas Infante, C/ Viento, C/ Castillo (Palacio de Pilatos y Palacio de Herodes), C/ Santa Ana, C/ Real (Primera Caída), C/ Terraza (Segunda y Tercera Caídas) y Parque Botánico Orquidario (Crucifixión).
