The II Promotion Taekwon-Do Championship ITF Estepona 2024 will gather more than 250 athletes of all ages.
This second edition will be held on Saturday, October 19, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the El Carmen sports center, with free admission.
The councilman attached to the delegation of Sport, Luis Gil, and the president of the Taekwon-Do Sports Club, Alberto Barsemanto, today presented the II Championship Promotion Taekwondo ITF Estepona 2024, to be held this Saturday, October 19, from 09.00 hours in the sports center El Carmen.
As explained by the municipal representative, it is a competition that brings together athletes of all ages from different parts of the Andalusian geography. In addition, he noted that this championship is focused on the base categories of this sport. It is expected a participation of more than 250 athletes with ages as young as four years.
The mayor has congratulated the local Taekwon-Do club for the great work they do in promoting this martial art and the organization of this sporting event that is managing to consolidate and become one of the most anticipated events for athletes and fans.
For his part, the president of the Taekwon-Do Sports Club of Estepona, Alberto Barsemanto, said that the organization has high expectations for this competition, which in its first edition had a great reception. “From the beginning we have set a line of work, through which we have achieved our main objective, the continuity of this competition.”
It will involve 13 Andalusian clubs, in the modalities of Tul (imaginary combats) and Sparring.
Both the councilman of Sport, as the president of the club have encouraged fans to attend this championship that promises spectacle and has free admission.
