The Mayor and actors Lara Dibildos and César Lucendo present the play ‘Estado de Alarma’.
The funny comedy about two strangers who are forced to live together by confinement will be performed on Saturday, February 3, at 7 p.m. at the Felipe VI Auditorium.
The Estepona City Council informs that the theatrical comedy ‘State of Alarm’ will arrive at the Felipe VI Auditorium next Saturday, February 3, at 19:00 hours, starring actors Lara Dibildos and César Lucendo.
The comedy, written and directed by César Lucendo himself, who debuts as a playwright with this play, takes place during the pandemic, but the virus is not the protagonist. The protagonists are Fede and Julia. Two strangers who, due to this terrible circumstance, have to live together. State of Alarm’ is a romantic comedy, at times nonsensical, capable of making the viewer cry with laughter and then touch the heart.
The alderman has appreciated that, again, both actors come with a play in Estepona, “which endorses the quality of our cultural offerings”. “With this work are successfully touring throughout Spain and is proud to enjoy it in our city,” added the alderman, who reiterated the support of the City Council to the creators and artists.
Synopsis. Fede, a policeman on leave for depression, decides to put up for sale the house where he lived with his ex-wife, as it brings back many memories. Julia, a lawyer living in London, sees the ad and decides to pay a visit to the house, as she needs a house immediately in Madrid to join a new job.It is March 14, 2020. Julia sees the house and it is a mess. Walls full of graffiti, a horrible neighborhood, full of delinquents and, to top it off, every 10 minutes the walls shake because of the train that passes a few meters from the house. Julia gets angry and leaves, slamming the door. Then there’s a knock at the door, and it’s her again. A state of alarm has just been declared. They don’t know each other at all… They don’t like each other… They have nothing to do with each other… But they have to spend time together, for the duration of their confinement.
