The Municipal School of Athletics triumphs in the XXXIII Provincial Athletics Circuit 2025 in the Track Meet modality.

It was represented by a total of 18 participants, from the Under 8 to the Master category.

Estepona City Council reports that the Municipal School of Athletics participated last Saturday, with great success, in the first test of the XXXIII Provincial Athletics Circuit 2025 in the mode Track Meet, held in the neighboring town of Marbella.

This test was attended by athletes of all categories from the province of Malaga. The Estepona group was represented by a total of 18 athletes who obtained good results in general, with medals for the following:

– Leo Fernández Lara, third place in long jump, U8 category.

– Natalia Guerrero Núñez, second in speed, U10 category.

– Amelia Vázquez Simón, third place in speed, U10 category.

– Isabel Leonhardt, second in speed, U14 category.

– Valentina Sommariva Platero, first place in speed, U14 category.

The tests to be performed by categories, from U8 to master, female and male, were: speed 60 meters for all categories; long jump up to U14 category; weight, from U16 category; and distance 200 meters U8; 400 U10; 600 U12; 800 U14: 800 U16; and 100 other categories.

In addition to Marbella, Velez Malaga and Nerja, Estepona will be one of the four venues of the Provincial Athletics Circuit 2025 in this form of Track Meet.
