The Municipal School of Soccer receives Ojen in the first day of the Educational League of the Provincial Council of Malaga 2024/2025.
The season will run from November 2024 to May 2025.
Estepona City Council informs that the Municipal Sports School (EDM) of Estepona Football participated last Saturday in the first day of the Educational League of the Provincial Council of Malaga in the season 2024/25.
In this first match, held at the Municipal Athletics Stadium, the benjamin team of EDM Estepona received the EDM of Ojén, with a score of 9-3.
The Municipal Soccer Schools registered in the Provincial Educational League Diputación de Málaga must complete the calendar of matches within the period of activities (November 2024 – May 2025).
This traditional competition, which enjoys formative and educational character, where coexistence, respect and values are the common thread, has more than 25 editions to which the Estepona Soccer School has never missed.
This sports course, the EDM of Estepona will participate with more than 120 students divided into 4 mixed categories: Prebenjamín (2017/18, 6-7 years), Benjamín (2015/16, 8-9 years), Alevín (2013/14, 10-11 years) and Infantil (2011/12, 12-13 years).
After the success of last year, the new format is maintained with the aim of giving more participation to young athletes, who will have a double-round league to complete a total of 14 days, in addition to the traditional tournaments of Christmas, White Week and Easter. In this edition, the EDM of Estepona, belonging to group III, will share days with teams from the municipalities of Benahavís, Benalmádena-A, Casares, Istán, Manilva, Ojén and Rincón de la Victoria.
Next Saturday the EDM Football will travel to the neighboring town of Benalmádena with the four categories.
