The Municipal Sports Chess School celebrates the X Interscholastic Tournament and the X Intercenters Tournament ‘Estepona Vive sus Calles’ 2024

They will be held simultaneously next Friday, April 12, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm, at the Plaza del Ajedrez.

The City Council of Estepona informs that next Friday, April 12 will be held the X Interscholastic Chess Tournament for Children Teams and the X Intercenters Tournament for Teams of ESO and Bachillerato. Both are part of the cultural and leisure event ‘Estepona Vive sus Calles’ and will begin at 10.00 am, in the Chess Square, with the awards ceremony scheduled for 13.00 hours.

A team of 10 players from each school will participate, respectively, and the students of Secondary and Baccalaureate of the IES of Estepona, after free registration, limited to 200 participants, at the Municipal Sports School of Chess: escueladeajedrez@estepona.es

The competitions of the Interschool Tournament will be Swiss system to 5 rounds, with a pace of play of 10′ per player, and in the Intercentros, Round Rubing to 5 rounds per team and 10′ per player.

In each of the tournaments trophies have been established for the first three classified, and medals for all participants.
