The Municipal Theater Group Farándula reprises the comedy ‘La Calle del Infierno’ to benefit the Asociación Gatos y Amigos de Estepona.
The performance will take place on Friday, October 4, at 8:30 p.m. at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
Estepona City Council informs that the Municipal Theater Group ‘Farándula’ will stage again, next Friday, October 4, the play ‘La Calle del Infierno’, by the Sevillian author Antonio Onetti, film and television scriptwriter, playwright, stage director and professor of dramaturgy. It will be at 8.30 p.m. at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. On this occasion the representation will be for the benefit of the Association of Cats and Friends of Estepona.
Premiered by Farándula last May with great success, ‘La Calle del Infierno’ reflects in a comic way the frustrations and hopes of Paqui, Juani and Toñi, three supermarket cashiers who go to the April fair in Seville. In this bustling space, and apparently for no reason, Juani commits suicide. This will trigger the plot of relationships that unites these friends, played by Marisa Olid, Desirée Pérez and Mercedes Bazán, under the direction of Luque.
Tickets are priced at 5 euros and can be purchased at the box office from one hour before the start of the show. All proceeds will benefit AGYA, the Association of Cats and Friends of Estepona.
