The Plaza Antonia Guerrero will host a day of Street Tennis to promote the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup in Malaga.
The event will take place next Saturday 16th from 12.00 to 14.00 hours.
Two mini tennis courts will be installed and there will be music and gifts for participants.
The Estepona City Council informs that next Saturday, November 16 will be held in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero a day of Street Tennis to promote the Davis Cup 2024, whose final will take place on November 24 at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena in Malaga. It will also advance the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge 2024, former Fed Cup, to be played from November 13 to 20 at the same venue.
This event is organized by Tennium SL and ITF (International Tennis Federation), in collaboration with the City Council of Estepona, with the idea of bringing the sport of tennis to the general public, so that anyone who wishes can practice it.
The activity is free, and will be open to the public of all ages. Two mini-tennis courts of 3×2.5 meters will be installed, which will be animated by specialized technicians.
In addition to the possibility of practicing tennis, there will be music and a raffle of gifts for participants and an information stand will be set up.
