The Three Kings Cavalcade will distribute 16,000 kilos of soft candies and more than 4,000 balls and other toys in Estepona.

The procession of Their Majesties will consist of 11 floats, 7 parades, the Pastoral ‘Jesus Cautivo, the Municipal Band of Estepona, the Vera+Cruz Music Band, the Agrupación Musical Los Remedios, and the Legion 501st Spanish Garrison, the imperial army of Stars Wars.

The Estepona Town Hall informs that the Great Cavalcade of the Three Kings, which will run through the main streets of the city next Sunday, January 5, will distribute this year 16,000 kilos of candy and 4,000 balls, among other toys.

The procession that will accompany Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will consist of 11 floats inspired by the ‘Fantastic Cinema’, seven parades of fantastic characters, the Pastoral ‘Jesus Cautivo’, the Municipal Band of Estepona, the Banda de Musica Vera + Cruz, the Musical Group Los Remedios, and the Legion 501 Spanish Garrison, altruistic association inspired by the Star Wars universe, as reported by the councilor attached to the area of Fiestas, Macarena Diánez.

The mayor has also reported the novelties of this year, unlike previous parades, the route will be reversed. It will leave at 17:00 hours from City Hall, on Avenida Juan Carlos I, and will continue along the Avenida de Andalucía and Avenida de España, and up the street Terraza to reach the Plaza Antonia Guerrero, where children can deliver their letters to the Three Kings of the East.

Before the Great Cavalcade, on Sunday 5, from 11.30 am, a children’s party will be held at the Fair, Sports and Leisure Park, and will represent the show ‘In search of the magic star’, by the company La Gatika Productions. The Three Wise Men will arrive at this event by helicopter.

Previously, their Majesties will make their traditional visit to the elderly people of the Residence for the Elderly and the Alzheimer’s Day Center.

It is also worth mentioning the security measures adopted by the Consistory for this event. During the tour there will be a device composed of Local Police officers, members of the National Police, Civil Protection, Emergency Services and Firefighters.

Estepona City Council thanks the companies in the area for their collaboration in donating the candies that will be distributed during the parade, and encourages all citizens to participate and enjoy the parade.

In the town of Cancelada, the Three Wise Men will begin their journey at 18.00 hours, from the Mayor’s Office, on Montemayor Street.
