The VIII Estepona Fashion Week concludes with the attendance of over 2,500 spectators
The young Malaga designer Jorge Campos ‘GE DE ROSA’, from Tolox, won the first prize in the V Contest of Young Designers EDM (Estepona de Moda) with his proposal ‘Tattoo’.
The Estepona Town Hall reports that more than 2,500 spectators attended, between September 25 and 28, the VIII edition of the Fashion Week held on the Paseo Marítimo, where 12 local establishments presented their new proposals for fashion, beauty and accessories for the Autumn-Winter 2024/25 season.
Organized jointly by the City Council, Juanchy García Estudio, and the image consultant Miguel Toledo, the event concluded with the celebration of the V Contest of Young Designers EDM (Estepona de Moda), open this year to participants from all over the country, which aims to support and recognize the work of young designers and serve as a platform for future design professionals.
After the eight finalists, the jury composed of various industry professionals decided to award the first prize of 1,000 euros and trophy to the young Malaga designer Jorge Campos ‘GE DE ROSA’, from Tolox, for his “risky and vindicative” proposal ‘Tattoo’.
The second prize-winner, Raúl Doña ‘DONA RALPH’, from Málaga, received a prize of 500 euros and trophy, while the third prize went to Bruno Langarica, from La Rioja, who received 300 euros and trophy. In addition, the City Council distributed five runners-up prizes of 200 euros.
The best models were Olga Guerrero and Carlos Martín.
