The XI ITF Junior Tournament Costa del Sol 2024 at the Bel-Air Estepona Tennis and Padel Club repeats as an international reference point

The competition was held with the participation of half a thousand players from 51 countries.

The Estepona City Council reports that the Bel-Air Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club courts have hosted, from 14 to 22 September, the eleventh edition of the International Junior ITF Tournament Costa del Sol, with the collaboration of the Consistory and the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Malaga. The sporting event, which has become an international reference, has had more than 500 players from over 50 countries, both in men and women, and has once again been a success.

The results were as follows: in singles, Ha Yoon Son (KOR) beat Sofia Iakukhina (RUS) 7/5 6/3, and Maxi Carrascosa (ESP) defeated Charlie Valentine (NED) 6/3 6/4. In the doubles, the pair formed by Ariadna García-Patrón Canals (ESP) / Ha Yoon Son (KOR) defeated Alexia González Galino (ESP) / Elena Karantali (GRE) by 6/2 6/4. In the men’s doubles, the pair Charlie Valentine (NED) / Oliver Sanders (CZE) defeated Marcos Alogo Piqueras (ESP) / Olav Berg (NOR) by 6/4 6/4 6/4.

The awards ceremony was attended, among others, the councilor and provincial deputy, Salome Hidalgo; the deputy mayor of the Extraradio area, Begoña Ortiz; the director of the tournament and president of the Costa del Sol Tennis Club, Raul Rivet; and the director of the Bel-Air Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club, Sergio Gomez Barrios.
