The City Council presents the new business association ‘Impulsa Estepona’ for the promotion of local commerce.
It is composed of more than 50 members and those interested in more information or in becoming part of it can do so through the website www. impulsaestepona.org.
The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, the councilor attached to the delegation of Trade, Consumer Affairs and Outdoor Advertising, Cristina Cintrano, and Vanessa Sanchez, president of the Association of Entrepreneurs ‘Impulsa Estepona’, today presented this new business organization that was born with the desire to promote local shopping and transform local trade in a network of support and collaboration between businesses.
The mayor thanked the willingness and initiative of this group of entrepreneurs that will contribute to the growth of local trade and also help the Consistory in its ongoing work to strengthen the business fabric of the city. In this regard, he recalled the numerous actions that have been carried out in recent years to facilitate entrepreneurial action and promote local trade.
García Urbano has indicated that the collaboration between the administration and local entrepreneurs will continue to live with new initiatives to ensure that the business fabric continues to strengthen and that citizens continue to support local trade.
For its part, the president of the Association of Entrepreneurs ‘Impulsa Estepona’, Vanessa Sanchez, explained that the idea of the association is to work to boost trade Estepona, promoting ties between the various entrepreneurs and working together among them. “Our idea is that each business not only seeks to prosper individually, but that there is a joint collaboration that contributes to the collective welfare of the community,” said the representative. “We want to convey to neighbors and visitors that the promotion and participation in local commerce is the cornerstone of our society, thus obtaining a more human and closer experience, from which we all benefit,” Sanchez continued.
