Fotonoticia: The City Council hoists the Spanish flag in Andalusia Avenue in defense of constitutional values
The City Council of Estepona has held today an institutional act to raise the flag of Spain in one of the traffic circles of the Andalusia Avenue.
The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, who was accompanied by commanders of the National Police, Civil Guard and Local Police, explained that the flag will remain in this enclave as a defense of the constitutional values of our country.
With this action, compliance is given to a plenary agreement by which it was agreed to pay tribute to the Spanish flag as a symbol of democracy and the Constitution.
“The flag of Spain perfectly reflects what unites us as a country, so it is a pride for Estepona that looks in a place as visible as this avenue,” said the alderman.
