María Luisa Merlo arrives at the Felipe VI Auditorium with the comedy ‘Intelligent Lies’.
Joe Dipietro’s wacky comedy of marital secrets will be performed next Friday, May 17 at 8:30 p.m.
The Estepona City Council informs that next Friday, May 17, at 8:30 pm, the play ‘Mentiras Inteligentes’ will be performed at the Felipe VI Auditorium. Soñando Producciones presents a comedy of marital secrets by Joe Dipietro, directed by Raquel Perez and starring Maria Luisa Merlo, Juan Jesus Valverde, Ana Escribano and Jesus Cisneros.
Synopsis: Alicia senses that her husband has returned home worried after a tennis match with their son, and suspects that something is not going as it should. Determined to put the puzzle together, she invites her son and daughter-in-law to a dinner party. Chaos will ensue as Alicia searches for the truth and a series of confessions greater than anyone expected will be uncovered.
Hilarious and hilarious, ‘Intelligent Lies’ asks: “What do we need to be happy? Sometimes we are not happy with the cards we have been dealt for life and we consider staying with them and try to find the long-awaited happiness, or look for others that may provide us with what we are missing: another house, another car, another lover, another hair. The second option always ends up dragging us towards permanent dissatisfaction and the constant search for “something more” and, in addition, it will force us to lie to avoid some disaster or other. And one lie leads to another and another and … in short … Who among you has not lied at some time?”.
Tickets are on sale at tafestepona.com and at the Auditorium box office on the day of the performance, from two hours before the start of the performance.
