Nearly half a thousand people participate in the X Cities Race against Pancreatic Cancer

All proceeds will go to the research of this disease.

The Estepona City Council reports that a total of 483 people participated yesterday, Sunday, in the X Cities Race against Pancreatic Cancer, which aims to raise awareness in society about this type of cancer and raise funds for further research against this serious disease.

The solidarity race, with a popular route of six kilometers, has taken this year’s slogan ’10 Years moved by hope’, and has been organized jointly by the Pancreatic Cancer Association (ACANPAN), which represents patients affected by this tumor, and the City Council of Estepona. It is also promoted by the Spanish Association of Pancreatology (AESPANC) and the Spanish Association of Gastroentereology (AEG), which represents physicians and researchers specialized in the study and management of pancreatic diseases.

The Estepona City Council has expressed its satisfaction for collaborating, for the second year, in the organization of this charity event of the Pancreatic Cancer Association (ACANPAN), while thanking all those who have contributed their grain of sand so that research on this disease can continue.
