The 40-meter high panoramic Ferris wheel on Estepona’s promenade begins operations
This attraction, which will remain open to the public until September 29, is fully designed for people with reduced mobility.
The Estepona Town Hall informs that the 40 meters high panoramic Ferris wheel in the Paseo Marítimo is already in operation. It is a temporary attraction for the months of August and September, which will allow residents and visitors to enjoy a new perspective of the city.
The Mederyt Group has installed the Noria Princess at the intersection of Avenida Juan Carlos I with Avenida España, next to the traffic circle of the European Union. The attraction is about 40 meters high and has 14 air-conditioned cabins with capacity for eight people each. The attraction is fully designed so that it can be used by people with reduced mobility.
The Ferris wheel will be a new attraction for Estepona’s Paseo Marítimo area this summer. The company will pay the Town Hall the corresponding fee for the use of public land.
The councilor attached to the delegation of Commerce, Cristina Cintrano, has indicated that this new attraction “adds to the wide range of shopping and entertainment that Estepona offers to residents and visitors during the summer months”.
The Ferris wheel has a schedule of 11.00 to 24.00, from Sunday to Thursday, while on Fridays, Saturdays and holiday eves will be operational until one o’clock in the morning.
The price of the Ferris wheel is 7 euros. Those registered in the local census will have a discount and will pay 5 euros.
