The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an exhibition of paintings by Othmane Chamlani, the abstract lyric artist.

The inauguration will take place on Thursday, December 5 at 6:00 pm. It can be visited, with free access, until the 18th.

The Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from next Thursday the 5th an exhibition of paintings by the painter Othmane Chamlani, considered as the artist of the abstract lyric. The inauguration will take place at 18.00 hours.

The exhibition consists of 19 large abstract works made in mixed painting technique on canvas.

Othmane Chamlani, born in Morocco (1971) began his artistic training in graphic arts from 1992 with F. Mohamed Douah, Chakib Reghaye, Mohamed Toumi, Elmadkour Azzam, and many others. Since 2003, the date of his first exhibition in Rabat, and up to the present day, the artist always surprises with his rise in the field of contemporary art. Unique in his kind, painter of the Abstract Lyrique, he makes inspirations, sensations and emotions a resource and a driving force for his artistic achievements.

Renowned for his free and spontaneous gesture, his expressionism celebrates noble values. The artist expresses his sensations free from any control exercised by logic and outside of any plastic or moral torment.

For the 2021 edition of La Nuit des Galeries, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Galerie Coin d’Art dedicated all its paintings to the work of this great artist. For the ninth Campus of the Moroccan Selection of Amnesty International, Otman Chamlani realized a 99-meter work in the center of Moulay Rachid in Morocco.

The exhibition can be visited, with free access, until December 18. The opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; and on Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
