The City Council highlights the economic impact and success of the Fair, which this year brought together more than 400,000 people.

During the weekend record numbers of visitors have been reached. The free concerts of Merche, King Africa, David Barrull and Miguel Campello have brought together thousands of attendees at the Caseta Municipal.

The Estepona City Council has taken stock of the Fair and Festivities 2024, which were held from 2 to 7 July, highlighting the success of the public with record attendance figures of around 420,000 people. The Estepona Fair has become one of the main festive events of the summer in the province of Malaga. This is evidenced both by the large number of visitors and the economic impact that this celebration brings to the city.

The festive program began with the massive opening speech of the presenter and actor Carlos Sobera, the fireworks display and the lighting of the fairgrounds.

Once again this year, neighbors and visitors have had at their disposal the comfort and spaciousness of the Fair Park, with easy access, the multipurpose enclosure, and more than a thousand parking spaces next to the enclosure and under the new Athletics Stadium, which has a symbolic cost for the user of one euro per day.

As for musical or artistic events, the municipal stand has once again stood out for its capacity and attractiveness to host high quality performances of different musical styles that have reached a larger audience. The Fair Park has been the scene of the successful free concerts of Merche, King Africa, David Barrull, Miguel Campello, or Las Hermanas Rodes.

The Festival for the Elderly, which this year has been enlivened with the performance of José Ortiz, a participant in the television contest ‘Se llama Copla’, an event that brought together thousands of people, has also been a great success.

The horse has again been the protagonist in the Estepona Fair with the open ride for riders at the Fairgrounds and the VII Contest of Andalusian Harnessing, which has been awarded to the best dressed horses and riders in each category: Rider, Young Rider, Veteran Rider, Couple and Amazon.

This year, as a novelty, has been offered to neighbors and visitors free rides in horse carriage, thus being able to enjoy the fair in a different way.

Fans of the equine world have also had their annual appointment in the bullring of Estepona with a luxury line-up: Juan Ortega, Sebastián Castella and Roca Rey, with bulls from the prestigious Hermanos García Jiménez and Olga Jiménez ranch.

It is necessary to emphasize the preventive coordination and on the field of all the Bodies and Security Forces: Local Police, National Police, Civil Guard; as well as Firemen and Civil Protection. Also noteworthy is the excellent work done by the operators of Cleaning, Operational Brigades and Lighting, as well as the staff of the municipal delegations of Culture and Festivals.
