The City Council will reward the new values of design in Andalusia during the VII Estepona Fashion Week

Those interested in participating, who must be between 18 and 35 years of age, can submit their proposals until August 31. The organization will select the eight finalists designers who will show their work in a parade to be held in the gardens of the Botanical-Orquidario Park.

The Estepona City Council informs that the registration period is now open to participate in the IV Contest of Young Designers ‘Estepona de Moda’, which will be part of the VII Estepona Fashion Week, which will be held from 20 to 23 of next September.

Organized jointly with Juanchy García Estudio and image consultant Miguel Toledo, this contest aims to support and recognize the work of designers between 18 and 35 years old who were born, live, study or work in Andalusia at the time of publication of the rules of participation.

Those responsible for the competition will select the eight finalists, who will present their work in a parade that will take place on September 23 at the Botanical-Orquidario Park.

On the same day, a jury made up of different professionals from the fashion world will choose the winner, who will receive a prize of 1,000 euros and a trophy. The second runner-up will receive a prize of 500 euros and a trophy, while the third will be awarded a two-night stay at the Hotel El Pilar Andalucía in Estepona and a trophy. In addition, the City Council will distribute five awards áccesits of 200 euros.

The contest rules state that participation can only be on an individual basis. Interested persons must submit a complete proposal of six designs. The registration must be made by email to the address esteponademoda@gmail.com, incorporating an attachment (JPG, PNG, TIF or PDF) including photographs or sketches of the proposed designs in detail. In the subject of the email should specify: Contest ‘Estepona de Moda’.
