Infrastructure: Contract awarded for work on a coastal corridor section
A 32-metre long and 3-metre wide wooden bridge will connect the promenades in the settlements of Arroyo Vaquero and Costa Natura. Residents and tourists will soon find street furniture, a fountain and litter bins there, among other things. For the construction of this new coastal corridor in the area of Arroyo Enmedio, the city of Estepona has awarded the contract to the company Urinci S.L.
The construction work is expected to take two months. The costs amount to 227,069 euros (including VAT), which will be financed by the local government Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol Occidental.
Through the construction of the coastal corridor, the municipality of Estepona wants to allow residents and tourists to enjoy walks along the coast and to promote the practice of outdoor sports.
