Election of the procession of Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivities of Estepona 2024
The designation and coronation will take place on Saturday, May 25, at 21.00 hours, in the Plaza del Ajedrez.
During the event, which will feature a performance by ‘La Milana’, the poster announcing the Fair and Festivities’24 will be presented.
The Estepona City Council informs that next Saturday, May 25, at 21.00 hours, will take place in the Plaza del Ajedrez the ceremony of Election and Crowning of the Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Major Festivities of the town, which will be held from 2 to 7 July.
The procession of the Fair and Major Festivities will consist of the Queen and four Children and Youth Ladies. The candidates will make several passes in which they will wear different fashion styles of local establishments (casual, flamenco, dress and gala). The candidates to become Queen and Children’s Ladies will be chosen by lottery.
The evening will be enlivened by the performance of local artist Gemma Sanchez ‘La Milana’. During the event, which will be presented by fashion stylist Miguel Toledo and RTV Estepona journalist, José Joaquín Sánchez, will unveil the poster announcing the Fair and Festivities of Estepona 2024, the result of the contest organized by the City Council for this purpose.
Once the procession is chosen, the event will end with the coronation of the Child and Youth Queens and the delivery of bands to the Ladies, in charge of authorities.
