Esteponero author Salvador Gómez Mena and his daughter Nydia present their books at Casa de Las Tejerinas

The Estepona City Council informs that next Tuesday, February 27, at 18:00 hours, will take place in the Alfonso Gil Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de Las Flores, the presentation of the poetry books of the Estepona author Salvador Gomez Mena and his daughter Nydia Gomez: “Ad Astra per aspera” (poetry book), “The puzzle piece” (poetry book), “Legenda et veritas” (poetry anthology) and “My love for you”.
Salvador Gómez Mena. Born in Estepona in 1970. He comes from a humble family of fishermen. From his parents (Antonio Gómez and Salvi Mena) he assimilated education, respect, kindness, calmness and a long etc. Father of two daughters, Alba and Nydia, he is proud to have been born in the same town of Estepona. After finishing his primary studies at the Victor de la Serna Public School, it took twenty years for his desire to write and tell stories to be born in him. His first works came from poetry, with “Corazones del Alba”, followed by the first novel “Marbas y el libro de la luz”, to continue with the poetry books “El sueño de los peces” and “Vientos de amor y cenizas”. Then, with each passing year, he added different works and styles to his literary C.V.. He collaborated with the charity poetry book “Lírica Navidad”, whose money was sent to the needy and victims of the war in Ukraine.
Now, Salvador continues his way writing scripts for his stories, combining his work with writing. He currently has 14 published works: “Los corazones del Alba” (poetry book), “El sueño de los peces” (poetry book), “Marbas y el libro de la LUZ” (fantasy thriller), “El último Arévaco” (epic novel), “Vientos de amor y cenizas” (poetry book), “La lluvia descalza” (poetry book), “De cuando fuimos fuego y otras batallas” (poetry book), “Bereshit, al principio” (thriller, crime novel), “La mariposa que olvidó como agitar sus alas” (poetry book), “Volver a nacer” (essay), “Cual águila a los cuarenta” (Anthology of 20 years), “Ad Astra per aspera” (poetry book), “La pieza de puzle” (poetry book), and “Legenda et veritas” (poetry anthology).
He currently has several literary projects: The novels “Escura vinganza”, “El bosque de los gatos”, “La página 137”, “El pianista de Parowan”, “En sus sueños” and the poetry collection “El fuego de la lluvia”.
